MindBoard is a community of builders helping each other succeed. These guidelines help maintain a positive, productive environment for everyone.

Expected Behavior
Be Respectful
Treat others as you'd like to be treated. Disagree respectfully and professionally.
Give Constructive Feedback
Focus on how someone can improve. Be specific and helpful, not just critical.
Share Authentically
Build in public means being genuine. Share both wins and challenges.
Support Others
Celebrate others' successes. Answer questions. Help newcomers feel welcome.
Stay On Topic
Keep discussions relevant to building, startups, and development.
Credit Others
Give credit where it's due. Don't claim others' work as your own.
Prohibited Behavior
Harassment and Bullying
No personal attacks, insults, threats, or intimidation. This includes targeted harassment in messages or comments.
Hate Speech and Discrimination
No content that promotes hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
Spam and Self-Promotion
Don't spam the community with excessive self-promotion, affiliate links, or unrelated content. Sharing your projects is encouraged, but do it authentically.
Inappropriate Content
No pornographic, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content. Keep it professional.
Misinformation
Don't spread false information, especially about security vulnerabilities or malicious code.
Impersonation
Don't impersonate other users, companies, or organizations. Be yourself.
Manipulation
Don't game the system with fake accounts, vote manipulation, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.
Content Guidelines
Projects
- Share genuine projects you're building
- Provide clear descriptions of what you're creating
- Be honest about your project's stage and status
- Update your projects as you make progress
Posts and Comments
- Stay on topic and relevant to the discussion
- Provide value - insights, experiences, or helpful feedback
- Ask specific questions when seeking help
- Edit for clarity and professionalism
Direct Messages
- Be respectful and professional in private conversations
- Don't spam users with unsolicited messages
- Respect if someone doesn't want to continue a conversation
Reporting Violations
If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines:
1. Use the Report Feature
Click the menu (⋯) on any post, comment, or project and select "Report".
2. Provide Details
Select a reason and provide context to help our moderation team.
3. Our Team Reviews
We review all reports and take appropriate action, typically within 24-48 hours.
False Reports: Don't abuse the reporting system. Repeatedly filing false reports may result in action against your account.
Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
⚠️ Warning
First-time or minor violations typically receive a warning.
🗑️ Content Removal
Content that violates guidelines will be removed.
⏸️ Temporary Suspension
Repeated or serious violations may result in temporary account suspension (1-30 days).
🚫 Permanent Ban
Severe or repeated violations result in permanent account termination.
